The Reason for God
Belief in an Age of Skepticism’ by Timothy Keller

Timothy Keller is the pastor of a church in Manhattan, which is largely made up of young, urban professionals, many who come from unbelieving backgrounds. Using literature, philosophy and real-life conversations, he goes through many arguments for rejecting the gospel. I found myself convinced anew! Since many of our communities are focused on interacting with spiritual seekers, I think this is a useful book for us all. Much of his emphasis is the same as ours from theRiver, such as the gospel rather than religion, avoiding politics, etc. I have also been blessed by other books from the same author such as “Prayer,” “The Meaning of Marriage,” and “Making Sense of God.”
